Project on maintaining work ability throughout working life

The main objective of the project is to improve the health and safety conditions of 14 employees of the company, employed as operators, welders, locksmiths-grinders, locksmiths-welders and grinders, by reducing the impact of significant parameters characterising working conditions.

Investment activities:

• a high-lift truck will eliminate the forced body position of the employee and relieve their muscles during activities such as: manual loading of parts onto pallets, placing empty pallets on racks, or manual loading of parts from pallets onto racks,
• a tilting table for packing and a lifting table will eliminate the forced position of the employee’s body,
• a hoist and manipulator for suspending tools will eliminate forced positions with the arms above the shoulder joint and twisting and bending of the spine,
• replacement of lighting – will reduce strain on employees’ eyesight and make work less arduous, with particular attention paid to reducing strain on employees with very long service and advanced age. Appropriate lighting will increase work efficiency and significantly reduce the error rate. At the same time, it will also improve the comfort of employees’ work.
